China Glass Lined Distillation Tank

During the use of China glass lined distillation tank, the equipment may be damaged due to various factors. Due to harsh usage conditions, the glass lining of the reaction vessel is prone to damage. If not repaired in a timely manner, the equipment will be scrapped and unable to proceed with production. Through research, it has been found that there are four aspects of glass lining damage, namely mechanical damage, thermal stress damage, electrostatic charge breakdown, and hydrogen evolution corrosion. The following are the main contents of the glass lined distillation tank:
1、 Wear and tear
The powdered raw materials used in production, such as bauxite, calcium aluminate, aluminum powder, etc., have a high content of impurities insoluble in hydrochloric acid. In the case of continuous rapid stirring reaction for more than 10 hours, especially in the area where the reaction medium flows rapidly in the middle of the agitator and reaction vessel inner wall, there is significant wear and tear.
2、 Thermal stress damage
The material of the glass lined distillation tank is composed of enamel glass and steel plate, with significant differences in thermal expansion coefficient and elongation. When enamel glass and shell steel plate are bonded together, different deformations will occur when the temperature changes. The production temperature of PACS flocculant is about 110 ℃, and the thermal stress generated during the reaction process will inevitably damage or destroy the enamel glass.
3、 The breakdown of static charges on enamel glass is mainly based on the following theory: any substance (insulator or conductor) that comes into contact with an insulator and separates generates static charges at its interface. The quantity and polarity of generated charges are related to the dielectric constant, conductivity, thickness, contact tightness, and separation speed of the two contacting materials. Due to the generation of PACS flocculant in the kettle, there is strong friction between the suspended solids and the enamel glass, and the suspended solids themselves also rub against each other, generating a large amount of electrostatic charge. High electrostatic potential has a strong effect on the breakdown of enamel glass, leading to pitting corrosion of enamel glass.
4、 Hydrogen evolution corrosion
The jacket or coil of the glass lined distillation tank will scale and rust after a period of use, leading to hydrogen evolution corrosion of the metal. The mechanism is as follows: anodic reaction Fe=Fe22e, cathodic reaction 2H 2e=H2 react uniformly on the entire metal surface with the same corrosion potential Ecorr and corrosion current Icorr (corrosion rate). When hydrogen gas accumulates to a certain degree and forms a certain pressure, glass lining will undergo a fish like rupture.
